Sell my rusty car

Structural rust is one of the most common reasons an older car fails its MOT, and welding is slow, dirty and expensive. If the quote is more than the car is worth to you, we will buy it with the rust.

  • Older cars welcome
  • Free UK collection
  • Nothing taken off
  • Paid the same day

What is my old car worth?

Free to ask, and you do not have to sell.

Lovely. Just the basics about the car and who we are talking to.

Why sell your rusty car to us

MOT advisories and fails

Excessive corrosion on sills, subframes, floor pans or suspension mounts. Send us the MOT wording.

Cosmetic rust too

Bubbling arches, rusty tailgates and door bottoms are priced honestly, not used as an excuse to knock you down.

No welding needed

We collect on a truck if it cannot be driven, so you do not need a fresh MOT first.

Sell my rusty car: FAQs

How can I tell if the rust is serious?

Your MOT history will show any corrosion advisories. Rust on structural parts within 30 cm of a seatbelt or suspension mount is the kind that fails tests.

Should I paint over the rust before selling?

No. Just tell us where it is and send clear photos. Covering it up does not help and we will see it on collection.

Do you buy cars that have already had welding?

Yes. Receipts and photos of previous repairs help, as they show the work was done properly.
